The Klim Badlands Pro Jacket is the most complete long-distance adventure travel jacket available. This is Klim’s pinnacle motorcycle riding jacket! Now redesigned with improvements across the board, with more optimized fabric layouts, more ventilation, more functional storage, better fit and more mobility. Durable Superfabric® ceramic print overlays and Cordura® fabrics handle abrasion, while inner panels that experience less wear are lightened for reduced bulk. Made from a Gore-Tex 3 layer PRO shell, this jacket is guaranteed to keep you dry. Klim bonds the world’s most breathable and durable waterproof apparel technology directly to the outside of the most durable shell materials ever created. The jacket has custom-engineered variable-density Superfabric® on the shoulders, elbows and forearm and also highly abrasion resistant 630D Karbonite Ripstop panels in key impact and wear areas. There are optimized 400D and 200D fabric layouts in main body and medium abrasion areas. The jacket has 630D Cordura twisted yarn on the chest. The jacket has 3M Scotchlite reflective material on panels and trim for for biomotion recognition and increased low light reflectivity. Klim has placed these strips so that they trace out a humanoid form, increasing the chances of being recognized by other motorists in low light conditions. The jacket has a double-headed front zipper. YKK® Vislon® water resistant zippers are used on the jacket.

The jacket’s integrated armour system features Aero PRO D30® CE Level 2 vented shoulder armour, Aero PRO D30® CE Level 2 vented adjustable elbow armour, a D30® Viper PRO CE Level 2 vented Back Pad, limb and side-specific pads for optimized coverage and stability during a crash, a spacer mesh back pad pocket and perforated XRD impact protection chest pads (upgradable to D30® CE Level 1 pads, available separately). The Jacket is CE AA Rating certified to EN 17092-3

The Klim Badlands Pro Jacket features 12 vents in total – 2 massive adjustable wrist vents with duals zippers, 4 core vents (2 can function as pockets), 2 bicep intake vents, 2 tricep exhaust vents, 2 back exhaust vents. It has a collar tab back for increased airflow to the upper chest.

The jacket has a ton of storage with 2 water resistant gusseted hand cargo pockets, internal organizer compartments in the right hand pocket, 1 waterproof externally accessible Napoleon pocket, 2 vertical gusseted chest pockets, 2 vertical core pockets (can also function as vents), 1 chest utility pocket, 2 lower internal zippered stash pockets, 1 vertical inside chest stash pocket, an external molle-compatible chest utility panel, 1 forearm emergency ID Stat Card / hidden stash pocket, 1 concealed document pocket behind backpad, 1 large dual-access gusseted back pocket, an internal hydration bladder compartment with internal hose routing options (compatible with the Klim Hydrapak 2L & 3L, available separately). The jacket has TPR pocket tabs for easier gloved access.

Other key comfort and fit features include action back gusseted shoulders for comfort and mobility, articulated seamless underarm gussets for mobility, soft leather cuff trims, Klimatek™ cooling mesh full sleeve liners, a moisture-wicking polygiene anti-odour torso liner, a soft collar liner, an adjustable cinch collar, 2 quick-adjust bicep straps, 2 quick-adjust forearm straps, an adjustable bottom hem, adjustable velcro + zipper cuffs, articulated cuffs for comfortable interface with glove, soft leather cuff trims for comfort on the wrists, jacket-pant zip connection, rider position articulation and an integrated jacket-stabilizing, removable and adjustable kidney belt support system.
