At just 2.6mm thick and wrapped in a beautiful weatherproof nylon canvas, the Universal Adapter is low-profile, aesthetically clean, and adheres with 3M VHB for an ultra-strong, ultra-durable connection. Like the Peak Design Everyday Case, the Universal Adapter has a brilliant magnetic/mechanical lock built right into it. We call this mounting technology SlimLink, and it’s so fast and secure that it borders on magic. With this adapter on your 3rd party phone case, you can instantly connect to all Peak Design Mobile mounts and accessories. It even works with Apple MagSafe accessories, too.

– Attaching to unintended locations or materials may be possible, but may result in improper adhesion and/or surface damage

Installation Instructions

1. Installs with ultra-strong, ultra-durable, weatherproof 3M VHB adhesive
2. Includes alignment jig to optimize install process

Adhesive Removal

– VHB adhesive can be safely removed without damaging surfaces or leaving residue in most instances
– Hold dental floss between adhesive pad and phone/case, and pull floss in a sawing motion to break the adhesive bond
– If there is remaining residue, roll it off with your finger or remove with blue painter’s tape
– In most cases adhesive cannot be reused
